STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- As previously announced in a press release dated June 9, 2005, Munters has since July 1 been re-organized into three global divisions -- Dehumidification, MCS (Moisture Control Services) and HumiCool instead of the former three regions -- Europe, Americas and Asia. The new organization will be focused on improving gross margins and customer relations.
Starting from the third quarter 2005, Munters financial reporting will consequently comply with the new organizational structure, i.e. the global divisions form primary segments and will from this quarter report order intake, net sales, operating earnings, operating capital and employees. In addition to that, net sales will on a quarterly basis be disclosed by the three geographical areas Europe, Americas and Asia.
The attached tables demonstrate the financial development of the global divisions during a ten year period as well as per quarter during three years. Concerning year 2004 the Group's EBIT has been adjusted to new accounting principles according to IFRS. Comments regarding the transition to IFRS can be found in Munters Annual Report 2004, note 2 on page 36.
