Delta Offers Special Low Fares, Bonus SkyMiles for Fall Travel to and from Hickory, N.C.


ATLANTA, Sept. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In addition to brilliant fall foliage, Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) is giving customers another reason to visit the scenic mountains of western North Carolina this autumn: special low fares. Plus, customers can earn 1,000 bonus miles for each flown roundtrip ticket purchased at Delta's Web site, delta.com.

For a limited time, Delta is offering special fall fares as low as $79 each way, based on a round-trip purchase, for travel to and from Hickory, N.C., between Sept. 15 and Nov. 20, 2005. Tickets cost $10 more if purchased from Delta over the telephone or $15 more if purchased at an airport or city ticket office, and these amounts are nonrefundable. Travel agents may impose an additional service charge for ticketing. Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets.
