Delta offers special introductory fares as low as $274 each way to Kona, Kahului


ATLANTA, Sept. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Summer may be almost over, but Delta Air Lines' (NYSE:DAL) customers should keep those straw hats and flip flops handy for our newest winter destinations in Hawaii. Beginning Dec. 1, Delta will start daily non-stop service between Salt Lake City and Kona on the "Big Island" of Hawaii. And on Dec. 16, Delta will begin daily non-stop service between Atlanta and Kahului on the island of Maui.

To celebrate the new service to these great Hawaiian destinations, for a limited time Delta is offering special introductory fares ranging from $274 to $284 for low-season travel and from $299 to $309 for high-season travel. Tickets cost $10 more if purchased from Delta over the telephone or $15 more if purchased at an airport or city ticket office, and these amounts are nonrefundable. Travel agents may impose an additional service charge for ticketing. Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets.
