KFC Announces New Dining Option for America's Wing Lovers


SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- KFC (NYSE:YUM) is taking its world-famous chicken to a new level with the introduction of the KFC(r) Flavor Station. KFC(r) Flavor Station will allow every customer the opportunity to get their wings dipped-to-order in one of three delicious sauces: Honey BBQ, Fiery Buffalo or Sweet & Spicy. KFC is the only quick service restaurant offering dipped-to-order wings.

"The idea is choice, the consumer chooses. KFC believes that the customer is always in charge, they are the boss," said Ed Thomas, KFC LA co-op.

KFC(r) Flavor Station will contain Honey BBQ for the traditionalists, Fiery Buffalo for the heat lovers and Sweet & Spicy for those that love both.

In the spirit of choice, KFC-LA is giving their customers the chance to win an iPod Shuffle. Every participating KFC in the LA co-op will offer entry forms for your chance to win.

"Pick your music, pick your sauce. It's all about choice," continued Ed Thomas, KFC LA co-op.

The new KFC(r) Flavor Station wings will be available starting Sept. 5, 2005, at participating KFC restaurants.
