Knobias, Inc. Announces Southern Energy Homes, Inc. as the SPOT of the Week in Its Small-Cap ClipReport

RIDGELAND, Miss., Sept. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Knobias, Inc. (OTCBB:KNBS) announced today that it has selected Southern Energy Homes, Inc. (Pink Sheets:SEHI) as the SPOT of the week in the Knobias Small-Cap "ClipReport."

Southern Energy Homes, Inc. is engaged in the production and sale of manufactured and modular homes and the operation of three component supply divisions. SEHI produces homes sold primarily in the southeastern and south-central U.S. SEHI operates five manufacturing facilities to produce homes sold in 21 states.

The Bulls say:

-Hurricane History: Unfortunate hurricane devastation has proven beneficial for SEHI. Hurricane activity in 2004, especially "Charley", generated an additional $13.1 million in revenues for SEHI. In the second half of 2004, SEHI sold 455 single section units for temporary housing under a contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). SEHI shipped a total of 4,328 homes in 2004, an increase of 20% Y/Y compared to a 0.1% industry decline.

The Bears say:

-Over Enthusiasm: It's no secret that Katrina has caused an unprecedented need for housing. Since August 29, SEHI has jumped from $5.35 to a high of $7.68 on 09/06 (+43%). The September 2 Wall Street Journal article also helped bring SEHI to the attention of many investors. This hurricane-driven move has increased SEHI's trailing P/E from 13 to 17. Without specific guidance regarding Katrina's actual demand, expect short-term traders to take profits.
