It seemed that Luther's future was doomed until one day, he joined the Confederate Army even though he was only 15 years old.

As a Confederate soldier, Luther found himself in an entirely different climate surrounded with shock, death, danger, loneliness, suffering, and madness while serving under the legendary John Stanley Morgan and the notorious Nathan Bedford Forrest. Because he realized that he was no fighter at all, he later found relevance and sense helping people who were sick, wounded, or dead. When he had enough, Luther struggled to reorganize his mind and reflect deep down inside on the true meaning of the Civil War and decide how he could serve the Confederates while sticking to his personal beliefs and survival. Only time will tell if Luther can survive.
