TULSA, Okla., Sept. 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Deep Rock Oil & Gas, Inc. (Pink Sheets:DPRK) announced today the completion of the first of two coalbed methane wells scheduled for drilling in McIntosh County, Oklahoma. Initial reports indicate that the completed well will produce approximately 4,000 MCF/month with the company retaining a 3% overriding royalty interest.
Robert Garner, CEO, stated, "The completion of this well marks our first foray into coalbed methane production. Although our ownership is not that large, we were able to gain valuable experience and knowledge into coalbed drilling and production. We anticipate another one or two wells to be drilled around this same location to go along with the two wells previously committed to, with each having similar production."
