Franchise Management International Inc. Completes Conversion to Amadeus Agenta System

BRICK, N.J., Sept. 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Franchise Management International Inc. (Pink Sheets:FMII), through 866 U Fly Cheap, has completed its conversion to Amadeus (an online self-booking tool). This will help facilitate its independent/home-based travel agent model.

FMII believes the independent travel agent model will be one of the fastest growing parts of the travel agent business. A number of industry changes have taken place that make it more attractive to have home-based agents. The drop in commissions paid by the airlines to travel agencies made obsolete the old model of an agency with six or eight full-time people spending their days helping clients arrange flights. Now the agency can't cover the overhead cost of the travel store on the corner.

Amadeus allows agents to work from home through an Internet connection. Franchise Management believes you create value with service and save on the cost of doing business.
