Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Red Cross.
What makes this particularly eventful is how this evolved. RodSmith80.com representatives were on hand last Sunday, 9/24 for a local birthday party for two 11 year-old boys who decided with their parents to hold a joint party and instead of receiving the traditional presents from family and friends they decided to accept donations only and have them go to Hurricane Katrina victims through the Red Cross. Rod Smith was contacted through his website about what the boys were doing and Rod decided to help the boys raise some money.
