 WHO:       U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta to address
            port executive leaders from around the world and help
            celebrate IAPH 50th Anniversary homecoming.

 WHY:       Marking the 50th anniversary of the port industry's
            leading organization, IAPH President H. Thomas Kornegay
            will preside over the annual executive committee meeting,
            which will include technical presentations and
            deliberations on critical issues confronting global
            ports: port security after implementation of ISPS code,
            green port initiatives, port congestion, ballast water,
            and related transportation issues.
