Unity Wireless Named One of Canada's Fastest Growing Technology Companies in 2005 Deloitte Canadian Technology Fast 50 Program

BURNABY, British Columbia, Sept. 30, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Unity Wireless Corporation (OTCBB:UTYW), a developer of integrated wireless subsystems, power amplifiers and coverage enhancement solutions, has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Canadian Technology Fast 50, the annual program which recognizes excellence, innovation and the fastest growing tech companies in Canada. Rankings are based on percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 2000-2004.

Ilan Kenig, President and CEO of Unity Wireless commented, "We are proud to have been named to the Fast 50 list for the second time in three years. Given that we feel our most significant growth is still ahead of us, we look forward to see how we continue to rank among our peers in Canada while continuing to contribute to the growth of the wireless community in BC as an increasingly larger exporter of great Canadian technology."

Unity Wireless' increase in revenues of 828.13 percent from 2000 to 2004 resulted in a 18th ranking overall in the Canadian Technology Fast 50.

"The Deloitte Canadian Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision and temerity to succeed despite a very challenging technology environment," said Garry Foster, National Director, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte. "We applaud the successes of Unity Wireless and acknowledge their place as one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past five years."

Winners of the 15 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
