Advantage Cash Advance To Open Three Metro Detroit Stores In October; Three More Planned This Fall

ROYAL OAK, Mich., Oct. 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Advantage Cash Corp., which recently announced plans to franchise its successful payday advance concept under the name Advantage Cash Advance, announced the planned opening of three stores in the metro Detroit area by October 31, 2005.

Michael G. Rinoldo, a native of Flint and resident of Flushing, Mich., and Paul Stark, a resident of Fenton, Mich., are the master franchisees for Advantage Cash Advance stores in Michigan.

The new units will be located at:

 -- 16579 10 Mile Road, Eastpointe, Mich.
-- 8530 W. Nine Mile Road, Suite A, Oak Park, Mich.
-- 1231 Fort Street, Wyandotte, Mich.

Philip Locke, president of Advantage Cash Corp., headquartered here, announced the expansion.

According to Rinoldo and Stark, Michigan has the potential for 30 Advantage Cash Advance stores and they hope to hit that goal within two years -- including three more stores in 2005.

"Our concept is based on good customer relations and payday advances at competitive rates," Rinoldo said. "The business model was used by Phil with Cash Now, a chain of similar stores he built in metro Detroit from zero to 30 in six years and doubled his number of stores last year by adding 14 stores. Payday advances are one of the fastest growing segments of our economy. Just last year, four more national payday advance companies moved into Michigan."

Locke plans to open some 1,800 Advantage Cash Advance units in 36 states where payday advances are legislated.
