BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PCS Edventures! (OTCBB:PCSV) today announced that it has received an order for its PCS Academy of Science(tm) (AOS) high school program from the Upward Bound Program at Abilene Christian University. All Upward Bound projects are required to provide instruction in math, laboratory science, composition, literature, and foreign language.
Solly Tamari, Product Manager for PCS Academy of Science(tm), said, "The PCS Academy of Science(tm) solution was chosen because it provides the required laboratory science requirements without needing a physical lab, and is extremely suitable for these types of programs. Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in pre-college performance and ultimately in higher education pursuits. Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families, high school students from families in which neither parent holds a bachelor's degree, and low-income, first-generation military veterans who are preparing to enter postsecondary education. The goal of Upward Bound is to increase the rates at which participants enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education.
