  WHY:    "Java and Jobs: Creating Economic Stimulus in the Region"
           The theme reflects the Houston region's rising stature
           in the global coffee and cocoa trade and the powerful
           overall role of these commodities in the area's economic
           development. The day-long event features networking and
           insights on business development opportunities within
           Houston's coffee and cocoa supply chain - from shipping,
           warehouse storage and distribution, to roasting,
           packaging and retail marketing.

                          annual dinner celebration, saluting coffee
                          industry and recognizing local businesses
                          for outstanding business acumen.
           7 p.m. (Note)  Dinner program featuring Robert F.
                          Nelson, President and CEO of the National
                          Coffee Association of the U.S.A. is a
                          regular speaker on coffee issues on TV
                          and also before Congress and will be
                          addressing the issues of domestic
                          retailers, importers, roasters, suppliers
                          and wholesalers as well as market
                          exchanges, associations, producer
                          cooperatives and exporters operating
                          on every continent.

            (Note) IN THE EVENT OF AN ASTROS PLAYOFF GAME:
             The program will be abbreviated and the game will be
             broadcast on a giant projection screen.
