NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) today announced a 72-hour Countdown sale that includes an extension of the enormously popular $25(a) each way fare between New York (JFK) and Boston. Other sale fares, for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, start at $59(a) each way. All sale fares are valid for travel through December 21, 2005(a).
"There's just enough time to take a trip for a great price before the holidays," said JetBlue's CEO David Neeleman. "We have plenty of new cities for customers to choose from, including our newest destination of Newark, N.J; from Boston to 19 new JetBlue destinations; and up to 76 flights to Florida from New York, the most of any airline."
Customers may purchase these sale fares online at www.jetblue.com, or by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (1-800-538-2583). All sale fares must be purchased by Friday, October 21, 2005, and travel must be completed by December 21, 2005. A three-day advance purchase is required, except for JetBlue's $25(a) each-way fare, which requires a seven-day advance purchase. Sale fares are not available for travel between November 22 and November 28, 2005. Sale fares are only available for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, except for JetBlue's $25(a) each-way sale fare between Boston and New York (JFK), which is available seven days a week(a). Customers are encouraged to book early as seats are limited.
