The publication bestows the Gold Star on a limited number of products deemed outstanding both in terms of quality and value.
The editorial panelists described Celery Peppercorn as "very elegant, smooth and perfectly balanced. A brilliant expression of fresh celery and crushed peppercorn." The magazine also reviewed Modern Spirits' Black Truffle and Pear Lavender vodkas, both of which received favorable marks.
