HOUSTON, Oct. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (AMEX:UWN) announced today the addition of Hayri Gurbuz as Vice President, Planning and Operational Analysis and George Cvek as Senior Director, Information Technology.

Mr. Gurbuz brings over 10 years of analysis and entertainment experience with five years of gaming experience to Nevada Gold. He was previously the Director of Support Services for Mohegan Sun, a four million plus sq. ft. facility in Connecticut, where he began his career in gaming as a Budget Analyst and progressed into overall operations and project expansion.

Mr. Cvek brings over 26 years of IT experience to the Company with over 12 years of that specific to the gaming industry. He has a vast background in opening new casinos and upgrading long term infrastructure, including: Spa Resort Casino, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Trump Casino Hotel, Grand Victoria Casino and Resort, Showboat Mardi Gras Casino, Majestic Casino and Holly Casino.
