Song Unveils Latest On-Board Menu with New Creations from Boston Chef Peter Davis

Award-Winning Organic Chef from Harvard Square's Charles Hotel is Song's Newest Consulting Chef


ATLANTA, Oct. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Song(r), Delta Air Lines' low-fare air service, unveiled its latest on-board menu featuring creations from Chef Peter Davis, its newest consulting chef. Davis, the award-winning chef from Henrietta's Table located at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has created five new selections that will be featured on Song's menu, November through January. Chef Davis' salad and sandwich creations include:



 -- Featured Sandwich: Smoked Turkey -- Two slices of cranberry nut
    bread smothered with cranberry relish and loaded with thinly
    sliced, smoked turkey breast, cheddar cheese and fresh lettuce.

 -- Featured Salad: Grilled Vegetable Medley Salad -- Organic baby
    arugula, topped with crookneck squash, zucchini, red onion,
    asparagus, baby carrots, Roma tomato, chevre cheese, chives and
    parsley. Served with golden Italian vinaigrette and breadsticks.

 -- Featured "Song Signature" Dish (changes monthly)

 -- November: Grilled Chicken Nicoise Salad -- Organic Romaine
    lettuce topped with grilled breast of herb chicken strips,
    blanched string beans, Kalamata olives, ripe cherry tomatoes and
    new red potatoes -- all drizzled with Balsamic vinaigrette.

 -- December: Grilled Chicken Salad -- Grilled chicken, fresh red
    grapes, toasted walnuts, crisp celery and raisins on organic
    Romaine lettuce, served with honey mustard dressing.

 -- January:  BBQ Chicken and Black Bean Salad -- Grilled BBQ rubbed
    chicken breast and black bean, red pepper, corn chili salad
    served on a bed of Romaine lettuce with a side of red pepper
    vinaigrette dressing.

Each quarter, Song refreshes its menu in partnership with a new consulting chef who shares its commitment to provide customers with healthy, organic options and who is based in one of Song's core markets. Boston-based Chef Davis follows a culinary philosophy that he deems "fresh from the farm and honest-to-goodness New England cooking."
