MorphoSys Raises Earning Estimates for 2005


MARTINSRIED, Germany, Oct. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- MorphoSys AG (Frankfurt:MOR)(Prime Standard Segment,TecDAX) today announced an updated guidance for the financial year 2005. MorphoSys increased its net income guidance for the full year 2005 from EUR 1.0 million to EUR 2.0 million, due to a strong operational performance resulting in lower than expected expenses. Full year expenses for 2005 are expected to be EUR 28 million compared to guidance of EUR 29 million. Revenue guidance for the full year remained presently unchanged at EUR 30 million.
