PCS Edventures! Announces Advances to its Internal IT Systems

BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PCS Edventures! (OTCBB:PCSV) today announced the expansion and improvement of its internal IT systems with the implementation of Asynchronous JavaScript Variables (AJAV). AJAV was developed by PCS Senior Software Engineer Suhas Pharkute, and is currently being implemented within the PCS Information Management System (IMS) that manages the entire business process from contact management to final product fulfillment and support. "AJAV is a significant step forward in our online technology infrastructure," said Robert Grover, Chief Technology Officer for PCS. "It enables faster, friendlier, and more efficient form interaction and data processing for our sales and support staff. We envision carrying these improvements to our end user systems, including our proprietary learning management systems, by the end of the fiscal year."

"AJAV uses a unique combination of client and server processing capabilities," said Suhas Pharkute. "It is similar to other emerging technologies, such as AJAX, but accomplishes superior data compression (as high as a 42% improvement) with the same features. The primary focus of the AJAV initiative at PCS is to create a superior platform for web applications that can be used on all types of Internet connections ranging from broadband to dialup. We see this development as the next logical step in global trends relating to web application design and delivery."

Tony Maher, Chairman, President and CEO of PCS said, "It is exciting to see this innovative approach to managing data in action. With the growth of our Learning Lab sales and our growing international presence, it is necessary that we continue to innovate and improve our own technical systems to maintain our position as the leader in the field of technology education."
