IVI Communications, Inc. Subsidiary is Featured by Motorola in an Industrywide White Paper

IVCM's Successful Business Model Serves as Case Study Example

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- IVI Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:IVCM) (WKN# A0DNWJ) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Internet Business Consulting, Inc., has been featured in a Motorola white paper article entitled, Beyond Wireless.

IVI Communication's management believes that Motorola has singled out IVCM's wholly owned subsidiary, IBC Wireless, because they have a well-conceived business model utilizing advanced technology and the ability to move quickly to provide a superior service. Further, they believe that IBC has positioned itself to successfully bring high speed wireless Internet access to rural America.

According to Motorola, "Beyond Wireless is a mini case study that is intended to illustrate a unique deployment of Motorola's Canopy wireless broadband technology. Our goal is to highlight applications depicting the evolution of wireless broadband technology that connects people to people and people to devices."

Nyhl Henson, president and CEO of IVI Communications, states, "The Roper project serves to validate our strategy to deploy fixed wireless broadband in rural communities that would otherwise be limited to dial-up access. In most cases, we see acquisition of a locally branded ISP as the point of entry. In the case of Roper, our opportunity came in the form of a municipality aggressively seeking its own solution." Jim Hollis, president of IBC, goes on to further state, "It is an exciting opportunity to work with a company of the caliber of Motorola. We believe Motorola's decision to highlight our company is a testament to their belief in the vast market for our service. We are honored to be highlighted in their white paper and feel it serves as validation for our business model, growth strategy and most importantly, for the quality of service we offer."

The article, in its entirety, can be viewed at http://www.ivn.net/ivcmpr_38.doc.

The white paper discusses a common problem faced by many rural, underserved areas in the country -- limited access to reliable, cost-effective broadband Internet service. In this instance, the mayor of Roper, North Carolina was dissatisfied with existing broadband services and costs and was searching for an opportunity to quickly offer a more compelling product to a broader constituency.

A synthesis of Motorola's Canopy 900MHz fixed broadband wireless Internet access and high capacity backhaul systems and Internet Business Consulting Inc.'s education platform, training, engineering, design, installation, routing and back office consulting provided the solution to Roper's problem. In a compressed time frame, Roper was given the ability to provide high speed, broadband Internet access to 1,200 homes at a reasonable cost compared to hardwired options.
