COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Nov. 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In October 2005, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 140,247 passengers (+8.2%) compared with October 2004. Breakdown of departing passengers: The number of locally departing passengers increased by 68,762 passengers (+12.8%). The number of transfer/transit passengers increased by 1,801 passengers (+0.6%).
International passengers:
The number of scheduled international passengers increased by 116,173 passengers (+7.9%), while the number of international charter passengers increased by 13,035 (+13.4%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 129,372 passengers (+8.2%). Domestic passengers: The total number of domestic passengers increased by 10,875 passengers (+7.6%) compared with October 2004.
