Immediatek's DiscLive to Roll Out iPod Delivery

First implementation to Take Place at the Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film & TV Music Conference in Beverly Hills, CA, Nov 15-16

DALLAS, Nov. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Immediatek's (OTCBB:ITEK) DiscLive, the independent leader in recording live content and making it available immediately after the event, announced today that it will be implementing a long awaited digital delivery solution to those fans who have Apple Computer's popular iPod digital media players, in addition to its usual high-end CD and DVD products. The first content scheduled to be delivered directly to iPod will be from panel discussions at the Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film & TV Music Conference, through DiscLive's exclusive B2B conference recording agreement with Billboard.

As part of the rollout, DiscLive will also be introducing a free custom software utility that will quickly and easily transfer DiscLive content from the iPod to the user's iTunes application without disrupting the iTunes library. The application will be made available for download through DiscLive's website, and it is anticipated that the utility will also be included as an installer when the content is delivered to the iPod at the event.

"Many people have asked us for this ability, and this has been in our plan for some time," said Zach Bair, CEO of DiscLive. "However, various issues regarding the method in which iPods and iTunes synchronize have made this a more challenging endeavor. With the introduction of our custom software utility, combined with our assisted onsite delivery, we effectively create a streamlined method that will allow the users to listen or view the event they just experienced on their way home, and when they get there, add the new content to their iTunes application without fear of losing what they just added onto their iPod."

Bair went on to explain that DiscLive has developed methods for moving high quality mixed and mastered concert audio to various file formats quickly, and that the company will soon support direct-to-iPod video.

The Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film & TV Music Conference is being held at the Beverly Hilton on November 15th & 16th, in Beverly Hills, CA. DiscLive will record each panel session and will make those sessions available at no cost for attendees.
