NEW YORK, Nov. 10, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Ramp Corporation (Other OTC:RCOCQ) today announced that the Company has sold its two remaining healthcare technology assets to eHealth Solutions Inc. The assets sold consist of the Company's CarePoint electronic prescribing solution and its CareGiver product for the skilled nursing facility industry. The purchase price was $2 million in cash.
The Company also announced today that it has entered into an agreement to sell its SmartClinic electronic health record system to VIP Medicine LLC. The Company will receive between $18k and $98K for the business based on a formula tied to future sales activity. The Company had previously purchased the SmartClinic business from Berdy Medical Systems in October of 2004.
