Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Names Steve Pedigo Corporate Lead Executive for Fort Huachuca, Ariz.


FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz., Nov. 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Walter (Steve) Pedigo corporate lead executive for company business in Fort Huachuca, Ariz.

As corporate lead executive, Pedigo will serve as the principal corporate point of contact for all Northrop Grumman business in the Fort Huachuca area. In this leadership role, he will provide communication and coordination between the company's employees and customers in the region.

Pedigo will remain a program manager for Northrop Grumman's Electronic Systems sector focusing on U.S. Army command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs and initiatives.

Pedigo joined Northrop Grumman in 2003 following a 27-year career in military service. He retired from the U.S. Army as a military intelligence colonel. His work in the service included 16 years of command staff assignments; Army intelligence production support; support to human intelligence in theater operations; and C4ISR operational and system architecture activities.

Pedigo earned a bachelor's degree in political science from California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, Calif., and a master's degree in human resources development from Webster University in St. Louis. Pedigo also attended the Army War College, the Command and General Staff College and the Army Intelligence Basic and Advanced Courses at Fort Huachuca.

He is a life member of the U.S. Army War College alumni and has received many awards and decorations including the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Intelligence Corps' Knowlton Award.
