The Blue Cross RiverRink's new and convenient location on Columbus Boulevard at Market Street will be the perfect place to view the Midnight fireworks over the Delaware River. December 31, 2005 will end in sparkling delight as Philadelphia's annual free New Year's Eve fireworks show at Penn's Landing continues it's tradition of ringing in the year with a bang! Seen easily along Philadelphia's waterfront at Penn's Landing at midnight, this year's production weaves a tapestry of color choreographed to the musical favorites from the sixties, seventies and eighties. The overall music track is scored to evoke anticipation and above all fun. The fireworks will be synchronized to music heard on Sunny 104.5. The fireworks will also be broadcast live on NBC 10 for television viewers.

Fireworks are free, and tickets to the Party on Ice are only $25 for skaters and $15 for spectators. Advanced parking permits are available only for party-goers for a discounted rate of $15. Holiday skate sessions on December 31 are: 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Blue Cross RiverRink is also open on January 1 for regular skating sessions. Call 215.925.RINK for reservations and more information.

The Blue Cross RiverRink at Penn's Landing has moved south to a new location for the 2005-2006 season, Columbus Boulevard at Market Street.
