NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways Corp. (Nasdaq:JBLU) today announces new service between Boston Logan International Airport and Washington, D.C. Dulles International Airport starting January 17, 2006, with six roundtrips during the week, and five roundtrips on the weekends. Introductory fares begin at $25.(a) Regular JetBlue fares will range from $55 to $140 each way.(a)

"Customers in Boston and Washington fly to each other's city more than any other destination," said David Neeleman, JetBlue's CEO. "We thought it was time to introduce low fares and great service to these frequent flyers, and make travel even more affordable and fun for customers in this busy market."

By April, JetBlue will have 50 daily departures from Boston. JetBlue recently introduced new nonstop service from Boston to New York (JFK), and to Seattle. The low-fare airline also tripled the number of destinations available to Bostonians via new connecting service through New York. In addition, JetBlue will begin nonstop service from Boston to: Austin, TX (Jan. 19, 2006), to Nassau, The Bahamas (Feb. 2, 2006) and to Richmond, VA (March 31, 2006).

JetBlue's service from Washington D.C. increases to 16 daily departures with the start of new nonstop flights to Boston, the most popular destination for Washingtonians. JetBlue also serves the No. 2 (South Florida) and No. 3 (Southern California) most popular destinations for Washington residents, with nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, FL, Long Beach, CA and San Diego, CA.

JetBlue will offer an introductory sale fare between Boston and Washington, D.C. (Dulles Airport) of $25(a) each way. This sale fare must be purchased by Nov. 30, 2005 and is valid for travel between Jan. 17 and Feb. 15, 2006. The carrier's regular fares will range from $55(a) to $140(a) each way, and the regular fares do not require any advance purchase.
