Cambodian Ventures Limited and Canadian Bio Med Systems Inc Announce Business Strategy for Avian Flu Product Launch Plans


LOWELL, Mass., PHNOM PENH, Cambodia and MONTREAL, Nov. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cambodian Ventures Limited (Pink Sheets:CMBV), announced today the business strategy and launch plans for Canadian Bio Med Systems Inc. (CBMS). CBMS will market products providing education, prevention, and prevention for the deadly avian influenza A virus (H5N1), also known as "Bird Flu", among humans.

CBMS has developed a human bird flu prevention kit that it will market worldwide through four web domain names that it has registered. CMBS is working with a marketing consultant to perfect the content of the web sites and provide appropriate positioning in web searches to provide maximum exposure.

The kits will sell for US$20 and it is anticipated the company will sell over 200,000 kits within the first 12 months of launch for a total of US$4,000,000. CBMS's margin will be 60% for an anticipated first year's gross profit of US$2.4million.

This announcement comes as The Ministry of Health in China confirmed a further case of human infection with the H5N1 avian influenza virus. This is third human case of avian reported in China, 2 of which have died. Also today, Vietnam has reported its 66th human avian flu case since 2004, 22 of whom have died.

CBMS's goal is to provide education and products to prevent the spread of avian flu, protect individuals who live or travel through areas of risk, and to provide available treatment modalities that are available in various countries that are affected.

Among the founders of CBMS is Dr. George Tsoukas , M.D., Endocrinologist, Associate Professor, McGill University Health Centre, Montreal, Quebec. Dr. Tsoukas has extensive experience in medical education and has produced and directed a popular television program explaining medical conditions to the public. Dr. Tsoukas was chief examiner for the Quebec College of Endocrinologists He obtained his medical degree at McGill University and received further training in internal medicine, cardiology, and endocrinology.
