ATLANTA, Dec. 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Air Lines today reported traffic results for November 2005(a),(b). System traffic and capacity for November 2005 were relatively flat compared to November 2004. Delta's system load factor was 73.8 percent in November 2005, up 0.4 points from the same period last year.
Domestic traffic in November 2005 decreased 2.4 percent year over year, and capacity decreased 3.0 percent. Domestic load factor in November 2005 was 73.5 percent, up 0.5 points from the same period a year ago. International traffic in November 2005 increased 7.3 percent year over year on a 7.6 percent increase in capacity. International load factor was 74.9 percent, down 0.3 points from November 2004.
During November 2005, Delta operated its schedule at a 99.2 percent completion rate, which was flat compared to November 2004. Delta boarded 9.1 million passengers during the month of November 2005, a decrease of 7.0 percent from November 2004. Detailed traffic and capacity are attached.
