CALABASAS, Calif., Dec. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- PracticeXpert, Inc. (OTCBB:PXPT) today announced the appointment of Jim Busby to the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Busby has 20 plus years of experience in healthcare sales. His experience includes sales of physician practice management solutions, electronic medical record products and clinical documentation systems. Most recently Busby provided sales and marketing services to IntrinsiQ Research, a provider of oncology clinical information systems. His background includes roles at Cycare (now McKesson) and Kurzweil Medical systems. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in business and marketing.
"I have been following the growth of PracticeXpert for some time and am very excited to be a part of this organization. As a member of the management team, I look forward to leading the organic sales growth for PracticeXpert's suite of patient billing and EMR products and services," said Busby.

Within the past few weeks we have made two significant sales of our practice management and electronic health records system on a client server basis totaling approximately $250,000, and a further sale on an ASP basis that should generate $17,000 per year in recurring revenue, not including initial start up fees. Two of these sales were to facilities that are associated with a national organization of healthcare clinics, providing the potential for further sales into that organization. In addition, we have signed a number of new revenue management services client contracts during the fourth quarter."
Doctor continued, "However, even with these recent sales, there has been a gap in our management team that we expect Jim to fill. We are expecting that Jim will build on our current sales and marketing foundation, and begin to deliver the organic growth we believe we can achieve in our market.
