New Year's Eve in Philadelphia: 3rd Annual Glitter City Gala at the Constitution Center and the 1st Annual Atomic Ball at the Franklin Institute -- Philadelphia's Premiere New Year's Eve Parties

Brought to You by www.NYEphilly.com

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Because of sold out attendance at last year's Glitter City Gala, NYEphilly.com introduces the Atomic Ball -- a second option for Philadelphia's New Year's Eve revelers. These events target young professionals, ages 23-40+ looking for an evening to remember. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer foundation, plus additional cancer charities.

As of Tuesday, December 6, over 1,400 tickets had already been sold to these NYEPhilly.com parties. VIP tickets are SOLD OUT to the National Constitution Center. Have you bought yours yet?

The Glitter City Gala at the Constitution Center is the most visible event in Philadelphia on December 31. It has been a sold-out event for the last two years. Over 1,800 guests are expected to "Dress Up, Get Down, and Ring in the New Year Right!" Open bars, martini bars, mood lighting, food stations, party favors, rooftop terrace to view the fireworks at midnight, and MUCH more. This year promises more space, a private VIP area, 10-piece live band CTO Manhattan and a DJ between sets. This dress-to-impress event is black tie optional.

The first annual Atomic Ball promises to be an out-of-this-world shindig hosted at the Franklin Institute with a backsplash of science experiments and a huge dance floor. 1,500 guests are expected to mingle among the exhibits and socialize in the larger-than-life heart! With a nostalgic space theme, the Atomic Ball party is tailored to be a little trendy and a whole lot funky! This "Shaken, Not Stirred" New Year's Eve party includes a live band, EBE Philly, a DJ, a dance floor, specialty bars, party favors, hors d'oeuvres, a champagne toast and more! The attire for the Atomic Ball is fashionable and funky.

Each party will have its own theme and vibe, which means two different vibes to choose from. Visit www.NYEphilly.com for the complete list of ALL the accoutrements of each party. This year, both parties will also feature a special addition for singles brought to you by MasterMatchMakers.com. Each guest will be able to wear an optional bandlet signifying they are single. We will also donate $1 to charity for each bandlet worn.

Tickets to both parties are on sale now at www.NYEphilly.com.
