The Complaint alleges that, during the Class Period, EVCI omitted and misrepresented material facts concerning the manner in which its educational business was being run, including facts concerning the degree of student support it provided, its admission practices and its graduation rates. EVCI's practices have led to criticism by the New York State Education Department, and adverse action which, when revealed, led to sharp declines in the price of the stock.
