ValueVision Associates CEO Accepts Business Women's Network Award

Julie Thomas Honored for Her Sales Leadership and History of Community Service


RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif., Dec. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Julie Thomas, president and chief executive officer of ValueVision Associates, was honored by the Business Women's Network (BWN) and Microsoft as an Entrepreneurial Star Award winner during BWN's yearly Diversity and Women Leadership Summit in November. The award is a reflection of Thomas' work to uplift the sales profession by providing advanced training methodologies, along with her ongoing commitment to her community.

As president and CEO of ValueVision Associates, Thomas led the company to become an industry leader in competency- and process-based training for escalating sales performance. Since taking the reins of ValueVision Associates in 2003, Thomas has been responsible for rolling out more new products than in the company's previous 12-year history.
