NEW YORK, Dec. 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- A three-night hotel package in London including roundtrip transatlantic air fare for $399 from JFK, New York, is being offered by British Airways.
The package is on sale, from today (Monday, Dec. 12, 2005) through Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, and is valid for travel Jan. 10, 2006, through March 31, 2006. A limited number of packages will be available for travel during the holiday season (Dec. 24, 2005 through Jan. 9, 2006) at a slightly higher price.
Comparable fares are available from all other 21 British Airways North American gateways with comparable fares such as: $465 from Chicago, $481 from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle and $449 from Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, Miami, Philadelphia and Baltimore.
From British Airways' Canadian gateways, prices start at $499 (CAD) for Toronto, $509 from Montreal and $539 from Vancouver.
The holiday package includes roundtrip airfare between North America and London, three nights' accommodation at the centrally located three-star Royal National Hotel and daily continental breakfast. Other three- and four-star hotels are available at similar prices.
Prices are based on double occupancy and are subject to availability and government approval; they do not include government fees and taxes of approximately $148 and a $2.50 September 11th Security Fee. Fares must be booked seven days prior to departure and other restrictions apply.
