Industrial Nanotech, Inc. Strengthens Research, Product Development and Distribution in 2005

Relationships support ongoing commercialization of nanoscience-based products

NAPLES, Fla., Dec. 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- In 2005, Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), a company that specializes in nanotechnology innovation and product development, penetrated the industrial coatings market and drew the attention of many large U.S. and international companies. Company management worked with select researchers, product developers and distributors to commercialize the Nansulate line of nanocomposite coatings for use in a variety of different industrial manufacturing applications.

Nansulate is a translucent, water-based coating that provides a new standard for corrosion, insulation and mold resistance in applications such as industrial piping and storage tanks.

Significant milestones in the past 12 months have included applications and ongoing product trials with organizations like U.K.-based Bodycote Materials Testing (at the request of BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd.), Gulbrandsen Chemicals, Ford Motor Company , UltraSpin Australia, the U.S. Navy and others.

"We are seeing tremendous success where a combination of insulation and corrosion and/or mold resistance is needed," Stuart Burchill, CEO of Industrial Nanotech, Inc. explained. "Using advanced nanoscience-based materials, we are manufacturing a product that the world has never seen before. With that, we're rewriting a few rules. We don't have to sacrifice one attribute like corrosion control in order to improve another like heat resistance. Nansulate combines superior insulation, corrosion protection and mold resistance in a way that, we believe, no other material can."

In 2005, the company also established multiple business relationships designed to further the commercialization of Nansulate coatings. Early in the year, the company announced research agreements with renowned laboratories, including Sandia National Laboratories and Princeton Polymers Laboratories. Sandia National Laboratories supports the company through nanotechnology research and development. Princeton Polymer, a renowned polymer technology company, supports Industrial Nanotech's polymer and new material development efforts.

"In 2005, we established the relationships necessary to bring Nansulate and future nanoscience-based products to the industries that need them," Burchill said. "It has paid off. Our sales are up 400% compared to last year. Going forward, we will implement a strategy focused on increasing corporate sales and we are in the process of building a dedicated and experienced sales team."

In November 2005, Industrial Nanotech extended product availability to the general consumer by introducing Nansulate HomeProtect(tm) for insulation, corrosion and mold protection in the home.
