Sitestar Corporation Expands DSL Coverage

LYNCHBURG, Va., Dec. 15, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sitestar Corporation (OTCBB:SYTE), an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and computer services company, today announced the expansion of its DSL coverage area in the western part of the United States. Sitestar is now able to provide high-speed DSL service in nine states through Qwest's network, including Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado.

In addition to providing DSL connectivity in these areas, Sitestar will also be able to create private networks (WANs) between offices that will not have to traverse the Internet. This means that companies in Qwest service territories can hook up a private DSL connection between offices and maintain greater security for their network.

"Although we have thousands of DSL customers already in Southern Idaho, this opens to us over 600 cities where we now can market and sell services," says Frank R. Erhartic, Jr., CEO of Sitestar. "We already have a good customer base in some of these areas, but we were only able to provide dial-up service to them. Now, if our dial-up customers want faster speeds, we can switch them to our DSL service that offers speeds up to seven megabits and keep them as customers."
