NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Trustees of PIMCO Floating Rate Income Fund (the "Fund") (NYSE:PFL), a closed-end management investment company which seeks high current income, consistent with the preservation of capital, announced today that it has declared the following distributions on the Fund's common shares.
Special Income $0.06 per common share Short-term Capital Gain $0.02930 per common share
The distributions will be payable on January 13, 2006 to shareholders of record on December 30, 2005, with an ex-dividend date of December 28, 2005.
