NEW YORK, Dec. 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU) has plenty of Winter Clearance sale fares still available for purchase through Jan. 19, 2006.

"We want our customers to skip town and the winter blues," said JetBlue CEO David Neeleman. "With these super sale fares and our expanded flight schedule -- JetBlue now has more flights from New York to Florida and the West Coast than any other airline -- they really have no excuse to stay home."

JetBlue's Winter Clearance sale fares apply to travel that begins Jan. 3, 2006, and is completed no later than Feb. 15 for Florida and Caribbean destinations and is completed no later than April 4 for transcontinental flights. Travel must be purchased by Jan. 19, and requires a seven day advance purchase, except for travel between Boston and New York or Washington, D.C. (a)
