Kid Sopris, SASS #3290, Regulator and life member, announces a new joint venture combining the efforts of Colt Manufacturing Company and Happy Trails Children's Foundation.
For the first time, and for a limited time, for a donation to the Happy Trails Children's Foundation the general public can have their image immortalized on the official Colt Poster. The "Real Cowboys Shoot Colts" poster depicting the images of Buffalo Bill Cody, Pat Garrett, Billy The Kid, and Wild Bill Hickok now has a spot for your image as well. This Kid Sopris-spearheaded fundraiser is designed to help the children of the Happy Trails Children's Foundation while allowing consumers and SASS members (Single Action Shooting Society) a chance to own a piece of history.
Colt Historian Kathy Hoyt deserves much of the credit for her support and efforts in getting the attention of Colt Manufacturing Company regarding this worthy project and arranging a special licensing agreement with Kid Sopris. A donation of $125.00 for a single poster or $50.00 for each additional poster will get your submitted photograph on the poster. Poster size is approximately 18 X 27 inches. Photos submitted must be in Western Costume and have the same general characteristics and pose of the already famous images. Submit your photo in cd-rom, or 8x10 color or B&W glossy format.
