About the Author

Abraham A. Davidson has been teaching art history on the college level since 1963 (and has written six books and many articles and reviews on American and Modern Art), but has been photographing seriously longer than that. In his book, Abraham A. Davidson Photographs: 1964-2004, are 58 black and white photographs taken in a wide variety of places --- Paris, Jerusalem, Vienna, London, Cork, San Juan, B'nai Brak, Killarney, New York, Myrtle Beach, Philadelphia, northern Michigan, Rockport (MA.), Reeds Beach (N.J.) -- that he considers among his best.
