Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Appoints Carl Alleyne Vice President, Infrastructure and Business Area Support


BALTIMORE, Jan. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has named Carl A. Alleyne vice president of infrastructure and business area support for the company's Electronic Systems sector.

In this newly-created position, Alleyne will have executive responsibility for facilities, environmental health and safety, flight test operations and the Product Qualification Laboratory.

Alleyne joined the sector's Baltimore operation in 1985 and has held a number of management positions in engineering and program organizations including director of the sector's software engineering organization, and engineering manager for the Joint Strike Fighter avionics program. Most recently, he served as vice president, components, commercial, and overhaul and repair for the sector's Navigation System Division in Woodland Hills, Calif.

Alleyne earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Delaware State College and a master's degree in engineering sciences from Loyola College of Maryland. He has also attended the Anderson School of Executive Education at the University of California, Los Angeles.
