Smartstox.com Spotlights Aldershot Resources, Commerce Resources and Blackstone Ventures

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Smartstox Online TV Talk Show, a leading international Internet news portal on small-cap companies, is pleased to announce Web streamed CEO interviews and corporate reports for three exploration companies.

Aldershot Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:ALZ) has been assembling a portfolio of prospective Uranium holdings in Canada, Australia and Zambia. Initial exploration activity has just begun on their Quebec properties, which had seen work in the 1950's and saw samples grading up to 2.5% U3O8. Cameco Australia has recently staked around Aldershot's Turee Creek property in Australia. Early indications show the possibility of Cigar Lake style mineralization at the project. Commerce Resources Corp. (TSX-V:CCE) is advancing their Blue River Project with an upcoming pre-feasibility study. The project holds a pair of tantalum deposits in the Rocky Mountains of B.C., with power, road and rail infrastructure running right through the property. Tantalum is seeing increased use for electronic capacitors and other components, as well as an alloy for metals in high-temperature applications like jet engines. Commerce Resources' holdings are world-class, and being located in the politically stable environment of Canada is a big plus in the tantalum market. The Smartstox interview with President David Hodge on the present and future activities of Commerce Resources can be accessed at http://www.smartstox.com/interviews/cce.php.

Blackstone Ventures Inc. (TSX-V:BLV) is exploring for nickel deposits, primarily in Norway. Along with joint venture partner, Falconbridge, Blackstone is searching for Voisey's Bay type deposits, and the geology of the area is nearly identical to that of Labrador. Norway has a long history of nickel production, but modern exploration methods have never been used in the areas of the old workings. Blackstone also has strong holdings in Canada, including the James River property optioned to Wolfden Resources.
