Global Prevention Services Receives Seal of Approval From Mold Help

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Prevention Services (GPS), a mold prevention company with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, has just been approved with the Mold Help Seal of Approval, and is now recognized as a Mold Help Resource. Few firms in the United States have been able to pass the thorough review process. The Mold Help Organization is located in Salem, Oregon, www.Mold-Help.com

According to Kevin Roberts, President of the Mold Help Organization, "The Seal of Approval is a major evaluation of products and services which truly benefit consumers in the prevention and remediation of mold problems. This rating was awarded GPS due to their hard work and efforts in the prevention and remediation profession."

Jeanette Kurtz, Executive Vice President of Global Prevention Services, feels that this recognition is timely with all the mold and bacterial problems surfacing with the hurricane-related disasters.

"Our safe and effective method of application to deal with mold and bacteria, and then shield it from returning, is the best approach to addressing this persistent problem," says Kurtz. "We are delighted with this recognition as this validates our pioneering spirit in this industry, and informs consumers we can be relied upon to truly make a difference in treating their microbial concerns."

Seal of Approval

Mold Help has thoroughly researched every aspect of Global Prevention Services and have found them to go above and beyond the average organization of this type, states Roberts.

As part of the IAQ industry, the Mold Help Organization found that Global Prevention Services products do not contain harsh chemicals, nor do they leave residue that can affect chemically sensitive individuals and render animals ill after the process is finished.

To date, only a few companies have been able to meet the criteria required to earn Mold Help's Seal of Approval. GPS was awarded the rating of Excellent for its prevention work, the highest level possible. The evaluation to obtain the Seal of Approval is a focused review of the company's characteristics, product claims, assessment of performance and appraisal of quality controls, application procedures, remediation processes, background checks, third-party independent laboratory testing on products, Mold Help IAQ advisor opinions, on-site practices and actual customer feedback.

GPS's process

 1. The first step is the treatment of all areas including porous and
non-porous materials with an advanced surface prep cleaning
solution which eliminates the contaminants. It is the most cost-
effective per square foot application for mold and bacterial
removal and protection in the industry today.

 2. The second step utilizes microbial shield products applied by
GPS's certified technicians. These actually bond to the surfaces
of the materials thus providing long-term protection from future
growth. These shields separate the contaminants from their
biofilm environment which contains the food and moisture required
     to support their growth.

 3. Third-party independent air quality testing is required by GPS as
they do not test their own work by design. This use of
professionals assures GPS's clients that their specific project
has been completed to satisfaction without any conflict of
interests. Normal and acceptable ranges are required to receive
the GPS warranty for applicable projects. The GPS warranty is
granted for 2 years for existing buildings and 5 years for new
     construction.
