Skylink Group Unveils Wireless Swing Door Opener

OTODOR: Designed and Manufactured By Skylink Group: Interior Home and Office Doors Can Be Automated to Open and Close Without a Push, Pull or Turn

TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Skylink Group, a leader in Access product and wireless technology, today announced the launch of the OTODOR(R) Swing Door Opener (SDO), an automated system which allows the homeowner to open and close an interior door without a push, pull and/or turn of a knob.

"The beauty of this product lies in its simplicity," said Philip Tsui, CEO of Skylink. "The Swing Door Opener (SDO) system requires zero effort to control the opening and closing of a door and is ideal for home and office use. The installation can be completed in under 20 minutes with a single screw driver."

The OTODOR(R) System can be mounted to any interior door that is up to 36 inches wide and 90 Lbs. in weight. The system can be programmed with a remote control and/or keypad (password protected), which when pressed, will activate the swing door operator to open the door. The door opener can also be programmed with the purchase of a motion sensor detector, which is installed at the top of a doorway. The motion sensor detects movement near the entranceway and actives the swing door opener to open the door. Both set-ups are ideal for the physically challenged, patients and senior citizens.

Tsui added, "Our aim is to improve the quality of life for homeowners, and the launch of this new product keeps in line with this objective. Swing doors Opener currently on the market are targeted for commercial use only and priced in the thousand dollar price range. We feel this product line comes in at a very competitive price point."

The Model DM-100 of OTODOR(R) package includes: a door operator, a four-button remote control (model 4B-TX), an electromagnetic lock, mounting accessories and an AC adapter. The four-button remote control can also be integrated with added receivers which can control household illumination and garage doors.

The OTODOR(R) Swing Door Opener special design and patent allows for an affordable product at a competitive price. The model DM-100 Swing Door Opener system sells for $320.00 (U.S) and is available for worldwide market, more information at www.skylinkhome.com.
