Imaging3 Introduces New Dominion Product Line

An Overview of the Breakthrough Medical Imaging Device

BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 19, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Imaging3(tm), Inc. (OTCBB:IMGG), developer of a breakthrough medical imaging device that produces 3D medical diagnostic images of virtually any part of the human body in real-time, today provided an overview of its upcoming new product, The Dominion(tm).

"This device is unique in the medical imaging market since the 3D images will be constructed and displayed in real-time, versus the delayed imagery currently available," said Dean Janes, Imaging 3's CEO. "Computerized Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems in use today, produce high quality 3D reconstructions, but do so in minutes not in the fraction of a second which is required for real time imaging. The company's Dominion product generates these images in a fraction of a second, allowing medical personnel to simultaneously perform procedures on the patient being imaged."

Mr. Janes further notes that the size and shape of these existing devices -- CT and MRI -- prohibits direct access to the patient, thus making it difficult for physicians to perform any invasive medical procedures on the patient being imaged. "These limitations in the medical imaging market are what drove us to develop this breakthrough technology," continued Mr. Janes.

The Dominion is designed to be mobile, capable of being pushed by an average person through a standard room door, and utilizes power from a standard wall outlet. Further, the Dominion is also to be capable of multiple imaging functions and therefore can replace or supplement a number of existing devices, resulting in a considerable cost savings for hospitals and healthcare centers. These functions include real-time 3D imaging, computerized tomography, (CT), and standard fluoroscopy, with several other applications in development.

One of the key safety features of the Dominion is its low dose of x-ray radiation. By utilizing a form of fluoroscopy known as photo-fluoroscopy, the Dominion produces approximately 40% to 50% lower dose output than standard fluoroscopy devices on the market today.

The Dominion has enormous potential to contribute to the improvement of healthcare. Real-time 3D images will be instantly constructed using high resolution fluoroscopy and can be continuously updated. The Dominion will be used for any current or new medical procedures, especially when multiple frames of reference are required. This new product has extraordinary market potential in an almost unlimited number of medical applications, including trauma, cardiology, pain management, orthopedics, oncology, pediatrics, interventional radiology, urology, sports medicine, computer guided surgery, and robotic assisted surgery.
