A Purchase Order for US $2.2 Million was Received by Calypso Wireless from Servinova, a Cisco Systems Registered Partner Company for the Delivery of its C750w Wi-Fi VoIP Video-Calling Phones


MIAMI LAKES, Fla., Jan. 19, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Calypso Wireless, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CLYW), a leader in advanced wireless telecommunications technology, announced today that it has received a purchase order for US $2.28 million from Servinova, a Cisco Systems registered partner company, for the delivery of the Calypso C750w Wi-Fi VoIP-video-calling phone, which runs on a Intel PXA series application processor and Microsoft WinCE 5.0 operating system.

On November 29, 2005 Calypso announced that its affiliated company RV Technology Limited, Hong Kong ("RV Tec") has been invited by Intel Corporation to demonstrate a series of cellular Pocket PC-based Smart cellular phones at the 3G World Congress in Hong Kong. The Windows Mobile Smart cellular phone, which includes built-in Wi-Fi for VoIP and video-calling, was hosted by Intel, which provides its PXA 270 CPU.

The Calypso C750w handset's battery last up to 75 hours standby time and about 4 hours talktime for VoIP calls. The Calypso C750w comes with headphones (mini stereo jack), a cradle with USB ActiveSync Cable and AC adapter. The color LCD display is 2.2 TFT, 240 x 320, 262k and the camera is a CMOS 300k pixels.
