Orange County Company Starts Its Version of Biggest Loser

COSTA MESA, Calif., Jan. 20, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- With inspiration from the new hit TV series "Biggest Looser," ACE DuraFlo Pipe Restoration starts a new corporate wellness initiative for employees with Optimum Fitness and trainer Dan Kaczmarek.

"We are having a lot of fun supporting our team of dedicated people reach new goals," says Steven Wann, President of ACE DuraFlo Pipe Restoration. "It is well-known that healthy people have less sick days and more energy on the job. We see it as a way to increase our profits and enable us to take better care of our customers--and that's what our company is all about."

ACE DuraFlo hired Optimum Fitness trainer Dan Kaczmarek of Newport Beach, California. The trainer turned the company's conference room into a one-hour gym two days a week.

"The entire office staff is having fun and getting in shape. The by-product is increasing the employees' team sprit and the 'can do' attitude we are known for," Wann explains.
