eWAN1 Acquires Cable Broadcaster ClearWave Communications

Set-Top Box Developer/Manufacturer to Launch Private Global Internet Television Network

SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb. 1, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- eWAN1, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWAN), today announced that it has closed its acquisition of California-based cable broadcaster ClearWave Communications, Inc., and will soon begin Internet broadcasting of content from America's leading film and television producers to national and international audiences. ClearWave, now a division of eWAN, has brought nationally-telecast programs to customers since 1953.

eWAN's subscribers, using its proprietary Triple-Play set-top box, which includes Internet, telephone service (VOIP), data and video capability via their DSL or other broadband connection, will join a new, private, exclusive TV network affording them freedom of choice from among 175 channels at approximately one-third the cost of existing cable or satellite subscriptions.

eWAN believes it is the first telecommunications company with the ability to deliver the Internet with the clarity of high definition to its subscriber's TV sets. They will be able to choose the channels they want to watch, at a cost savings of at least one third the monthly charges of established cable and satellite providers. eWAN anticipates that as consumers eventually receive the majority of their information and entertainment over the Internet, it's "Triple Play" set-top box will become the indispensable mode of choice and bring new revenues to eWAN.

Scott Kettle, President of eWAN commented, "John Chambers, CEO of Cisco, which recently spent $6.9 billion to acquire set-top box manufacturer Scientific Atlanta, said in the January 9, 2006 issue of Information Week; 'Very soon, all TV will be broadcast over the Internet.'"
