Search Engine Marketing Firm Inceptor's BidCenter Agency Lets Agencies Manage Multiple Pay-Per-Click Advertising Accounts from Single Interface

MAYNARD, Mass., Feb. 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Inceptor, Inc., a leading provider of search engine marketing technology, today launched BidCenter(tm) Agency, an enhanced version of its BidCenter platform for managing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising that features specialized functionality designed for interactive advertising agencies and resellers.

BidCenter Agency includes a new account management function that allows interactive advertising agencies to manage multiple PPC customers from within a single interface. Account managers can log in to the BidCenter system and see all of their accounts, including performance data, in one screen. They can also easily drill down into the details of a specific PPC account where new keywords and bidding rules can be entered.

"Since the release of BidCenter in August of 2005 many interactive advertising agencies have asked to use BidCenter in their own practices because of its simplified management console and powerful optimization features," said Vic Odryna, President and CEO of Inceptor. "However, our challenge was to make it even better for agencies by integrating features and tools to make multi-customer management a snap. We've done that with this release."

BidCenter is a PPC bid management tool that enables search engines marketers to manage multiple search engine marketing programs from a single console. In addition to the centralized management features, BidCenter's unique and proprietary Portfolio Optimizer enables marketers to create portfolios of keywords, assign performance-based goals and then BidCenter automatically determines the best bidding strategy in order to achieve the desired goals.

In addition to the agency management console, the new release of BidCenter supports bulk importing of campaign data. Agencies typically need to import the data in bulk via spreadsheets or other file types. The new feature enables direct importing of the standard XLS templates used by Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing. Other features in this release include support for MSN adCenter, Miva UK and Google Geo-Targeting.

"BidCenter is a great tool for any interactive agency engaged in the business of managing paid search," said Andy Atalla of PHDIQ, a London based media planning and buying agency. "We've used BidCenter for quite some time and welcome the addition of new features specifically for agencies. BidCenter has been a major asset to us as we seek to improve effectiveness and efficiency in search."

Inceptor is a leading search engine marketing firm founded in 1999. The privately held firm developed BidCenter, the industry's first portfolio-based self-service PPC advertising bid management system that automates the complex keyword bidding process. BidCenter's patent-pending pay-per-click advertising bid management technology employs optimization techniques similar to those that professional money managers use to optimize mutual funds. With offices in the Boston area and London, Inceptor has 45 employees and more than 5,500 customers including Home Shopping Network, Lawyers.com, CVS.com, Christianbook.com, and UPromise.
