Living as if Your Life Depended On It -- New Book Looks at Self-improvement, Plumbing the Past and Living for Now

BUCKINGHAM, Pa., Feb. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Life is not always easy, not always simple, and not meant to be taken lightly. People from every region of the earth live their lives in countless ways but very few people actually learn how to maximize every moment of every day and achieve what so many others find so difficult. In his compelling new book Maximize Life by Living for Peace, Harmony, and Joy, author Dr. Robert H. Schram, Pennsylvania resident and Executive Director of BARC (a 55 year nonprofit agency serving children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness) shares his views and insights on plumbing the past, living in the present, and not worrying about the future.

Maximize Life by Living for Peace, Harmony, and Joy offers a very deep and thought-provoking guide from the author's experience of digging the depths of himself and becoming the wiser and happier for it. The book's content is designed to help readers discover what it truly means to be present in their life and to appreciate it. Furthermore, the themes tackled include: living in the moment; success and failure; conflict; thoughts we live with that perpetuate suffering; attitude; living simple in a complex world; dreams and reality; stress; letting go of bad habits; stop worrying; finding love of self and others; finding happiness and calmness; tools to use to turn unhappiness into joy.

Essentially, the book is a guide about living each moment of life and realizing that life is what people make it. The book will guide readers to write down their personal stories, connect with their past, and look at the present with greater focus and in high spirits.

Maximize Life by Living for Peace, Harmony, and Joy is a mind-opening book that is attracting a wide range of readers, especially those people who are interested in self-improvement, who are traumatized by tragedy, stressed out by work, or simply discovering the nature within to be joyful and free.
